Phil Vickery is known to millions for his TV chef appearances, but few know that he is an enormous fan of outdoor BBQ cooking.  This stems from his childhood when his father would encourage him to gather natural ingredients and start to cook with them.

Phil's adventurous childhood saw him fishing with a friend and cooking their catch.  He also used to cook road kill and rabbits as part of his early learning for his career in cooking.
